Read yesterday's stories again. One new article from The Chairmans Bao

2 articles from 汉语读取, one lower level and I knew more than 90% of the words so easy to understand. The new words were interesting. The higher level article was interesting but only knew around 50% so needed dictionary and several readings to understand. In fact I need to go back to it today. One article on The Chairman's Bao. HSK4 good level for me to understand easily.

I read Olle's article on extensive reading and have changed my approach. I read 2 articles from a learner's collection of stories 汉语趣读. Lowered my level to HSK 3 and 4 on Chairman's Bao and read 2 articles. It worked. I came across several same phrases twice. Reading each article 3 times was quicker and I started to notice and review grammar patterns as I wasn't struggling for meaning.

autobiography, 杨绛，我们仨。First reviewed vocab in Pleco for 2 pages previously read. Then re-read these pages. Read 2 more pages for gist, then read again and found and saved vocabulary.
