Every textbook should contain these (and some more) phrases. By learning some common sentences such as "how do I say this in Chinese", "can you please say that again" and so on, you can increase the amount of Chinese you speak as a beginner dramatically. These sentences become ingrained. They contain grammar and words you will need later. This is awesome. The only complaint I have about the sentences here is that they are a bit overly formal, which is fin if you ask a complete stranger, but if you ask your friend "請問，您可以..." it sound a bit awkward. Still, neat selection of ten sentences!
