Snowflake Books' aim is to introduce English translations to children of specially chosen, ancient legends and folk tales alongside the Chinese language (traditional Mandarin or simplified) to foster appreciation and understanding between the East and the West. The books are not by any means exhaustive textbooks, but rather an introduction of the Chinese culture and language to bright, young English readers. The text is in English, Chinese (with Pinyin) and are richly illustrated.
