Terribly sorry about this lump reporting that I discourage other people from doing, but I've been a bit too busy with other things to report properly. I have been reading, but not as much as I planned, maybe on average 20 minutes per day. I've mostly been checking out more advanced (HSK5-6) graded readers and I'm generally appalled by how badly the authors control vocabulary difficulty. I understand that these levels are not for beginners, but there are so many words that are way beyond any standardised test that just slip in without any explanation and usually without even being necessary. These texts are more like adaptations of stories with some annotations thrown in.
