Everyday, this iphone/android app displays a few news articles in Chinese. Each article is only a few lines of text. Although the vocabulary is more geared towards advanced students, I also tagged it as suitable for intermediate for when you swipe down, you will find unabridged articles from news agencies or newspapers related to the same topic. The latter are mostly in English, but there are also some in Chinese, including wikipedia, and links to the original article. Interestingly, you can read all of the latter articles directly in the app without vpn even on the mainland.
